Village Choir FREE Costume Workshops

The theme is ‘Spirit of the Forest’ - interpret as you wish! Here are some images to set you off.

As part of our Festival Village Choir this year, we’re inviting you to join in with our community singing workshops led by Dave, and also to think about costumes for performing in.

The costume planning is led by textile artist Arwen, who made last year’s festival banner (pictured below), along with a group of talented volunteers.

To complement the singing workshops, Arwen will be running FREE costume workshops for practical ideas, hints and tips in adapting, decorating and upcycling anything from full costumes to small accessories - whatever you’re comfortable wearing - for anyone who wants to join in, get some ideas, hints and tips, and practical help for making your own pieces. (Equally, you’re very welcome to make your own pieces at home!)
